E o nosso dinheiro vai dando adeus, né...

"She knows what it's like to die. Now Death wants her back."

Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White

I have been - seriously - craving this book for God only knows how many months now. I've entered every single living contest I could possibly get my hands on. And I still haven't managed to get a copy to call my own. Which is highly saddening, it's true, and extremely frustrating, to say the least. But at least I'm sure that when I finally do read it, it'll be that much sweeter.
... So much for normal ;)

Firelight, by Sophie Jordan

Man, DRAGONS! I mean, really, that's hardly a very explored topic... I'm curious to see what becomes of this.

Crescendo, by Becca Fitzpatrick
What can I say? I actually DID win an ARC copy of this, though it seems to be a wee bit late in arriving... but Becca is a really sweet girl, and Hush, Hush was very different, and I mean this in a good way. Can't wait for my copy to arrive.

The DUFF, by Kody Keplinger

From all I've heard from this one, it's also a book I've been wanting for a few months already, and you cannot imagine my surprise and happiness when I found out Kody was only 18. Cheers for YA being written by Young Adults!

Anna and the French Kiss, by Stephanie Perkins

Excuse me? French men? Paris (don't try to tell me it doesn't take place in Paris; I can see the Eiffel Tower!)? And a cover like that? I don’t think I need to say anything else.

And, last but anything but least... even though it's slightly far from the date, the fangirl in me won't let me end this post without mentioning this one book...

Last Sacrifice, by Richelle Mead (out on December 7th - cover in countdown on the sidebar)
All I can say to this one is... TEAM DIMITRI! Oh, and also... Holy Mary Mother of Sweet Baby Jesus, Richelle sure knows how to pull on my heart strings. It's hardly fair how she's got me hooked on this totally fictional character... but, well, it's Dimitri, so yeah, you know.

And... geez. What's up with the covers? I don't think I've ever seen such a lovely blog post in here ever before. Really, these covers are just getting better by the second. I applaud the editors for this job - it's really a good thing for sales, not to mention it's always nice to look at a bookshelf and be rewarded with such beauties!
